Looking for a Strong Independent individual capable of leading a Project for one of the highest revenue customer globally based in Spain. This Challenging/Exciting role is looking for Individuals with prior experience in

o       Having run a domestic/overseas manufacturing site in Spain or in Europe or

o       Managing a high profile project from Concept to Completion with a highly demanding customer

o       Experience in running an automated distribution center

 

Job Description:

 

The individual is responsible for day to day hands on management of a Sorting Center..From Order Management to delivery of product to different locations in Europe (Spain/Portugal/Trukey) daily. The individual is responsible for staffing planning and work time hours to comply with local legal prescriptions and practices. Reconciliation of product records by customers receipt and shipment deliveries. Organization of Logistics to customer sites. Monitoring of thruput thru equipment;downtime and fallout analysis on a daily basis.

Let me give you a brief description of the project-Then it will turn into a full time Operating Center with the interest being generated by other customers for the service:

 

• It is a sorting center for Reusable hard tags
• The Sorting Center will contain 16 sorting machinery which have the capability to sort the tags for electrical functionality –Good/bad @ the rate of 150 parts per min
• At its Peak-we will be sorting close to 2.4  Mil tags/day
• There is technical knowledge involved in setting up the sorting systems which contains proprietary detection units
• The tags & tacks –need to be tracked as to what each customer location ships-it will have qty or wt attached & then after sorting-we need to do reconciliation between the 2
• Based on customer pull-Tags/Tacks need to be shipped to the customer locations based in & around La Corunna/Portugal/Turkey along with shipments to HK & Singapore DC’s
• Besides the physical counts..The person is also responsible for quality of outgoing product & analysis of any scrap fallout-Root Causes for it
• Based on the physical counts-Invoicing will be generated to the customer along with any rebates
•  The individual will manage 12~14 employees/shift as it grows.
• So the individual needs to have technical Knowledge (80%) +20% (Distribution & trade Compliance Knowledge) besides Supervisory Skills to get the daily tasks done
